Unfortunately it looks like some docks provide the 5v (usb) power, and some provide the 12v (firewire legacy) power. Naturally, I discovered this after cutting and soldering the power cable. We have an old hitch mounted bike rack, so I figured maybe it could be adapted to do this. Screwed together a few pieces of 2&#215;8 that were left over from deck [...]]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Spent some time working on the bikes this weekend, and realized a bike stand would make fixing some shifting issues a bit easier. We have an old hitch mounted bike rack, so I figured maybe it could be adapted to do this. Screwed together a few pieces of 2&#215;8 that were left over from deck building last summer, add a few 50 lb bags of sand I used to keep in the trunk of the mustang during the winter, and now we have an easily storable, and movable bike stand.</p><a
